Ikorongo and Grumet Game Reserves in Bunda and Serengeti districts in Mara Region, were established in 1993. Ikorongo Game Reserve and Grumet Game Reserve are rich in wildlife species as the reserves have several rivers crisscrossing.
Animals to find
Elephants, Rhino, Giraffe, Buffalo, Greater and Lesser Kudu, Hyena, baboon, Zebra, Lion, Wild dogs, Grant's and Thomson's gazelle, Topi, Warthog and Duiker.
Riverine, wooded grassland and acacia.
How to access?
By road from Arusha through Ngorongoro to Serengeti to reserve. From Mwanza via Bunda to Mugumu to reserve.
